Milton Skatepark, WA

Milton Skatepark the street area.

We came on April 17th, and participated in a work party, and we built this wall. And only 4 hours later it was done, we were able to skate. The park remains closed to the public, probably until opening day, May 8, 2004.

This is Councilmember Bob Whalen. Testing out the new park. (click on photo for larger shot of park).

Mike doing a boardslide rock and roll. Cool huh?

Brian does a "J" slide next to the door.

Dave carving it up at Milton.

Vern displaying some smooth style.

Oververt grinds are fun. (Am I over perp?)

Blue sky, and there's a door to ride over, in Milton.

Not many Shop owners sacrafice their bodies for the sake of their patrons like Dave, the owner of Gravity Sports in Renton. Dave is out there testing the products he sells. He's committed to finding the best safety equipment, the best boards and wheels. How many other shop owners lay it all on the line like that? He's got your back!

Watch out Dave!

Some early photos of the park.
