Skate Barn in Renton, WA

This is why I did skate here...

Click play or download a nice little movie of our vert ramp session, on Friday nights (12/10/04). Taken by Rob Skala (quicktime movie)

Download Quicktime player here if you need to.

Cool video by the Renton Crew.

The half pipe is good. Looks to be about 10 foot tranny. Here's an edger on the extension, which I think is about 12 foot high. (Edit: These are some old shots when it first opened in 11/02)

Steve really knows how to fly. He liked the Half Pipe too. YEE Ha, we're at the barn!

Here's a wimpy air by me, compared to Steve's.

Rob Skala is riding his classic 11 inch wide Ray Flores Model.

Indy Air by Steve.

Steve flying high at the barn.

Steve is really liking the half pipe here. He's pulling one foot off his front side air, then puts it back to land.

Frame grab, low quality. I'm fighting the photons.

It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years since the skatebarn opened. But it's true. I'm riding a 38 inch board here called a Numbchuck by Afroman skateboards. For some reason I'm finding it easier to air with.

I've found that I can't grab tuck knee anymore. At least not right now. I'm having fun figuring out how to air again.
